Our Discipleship Pathway
Connect. Grow. Serve.
The Gospel Life is our biblical discipleship pathway rooted in Ephesians 4:11-16 & Hebrews 6:1–3
At Gospel Light, our mission is simple:
Love God. Love Others. Make Disciples.
We believe every follower of Jesus has a next step, and The Gospel Life pathway is how we walk that journey—together.
STEP ONE
CONNECT
When you come to Gospel Light, we want you to feel welcomed, valued, and seen. Connection is where discipleship begins.
THE CONNECT TRACK
A three-step process that helps you understand your place in the body of Christ.
1
Who Is Gospel Light?
Discover our mission, vision, values, and what it means to belong to this church family.
2
Who Are You?
Learn how God uniquely designed you through the Spiritual Gifts Assessment (therealyou.org). Discover your gifts, passions, and strengths.
3
What Is My Role?
Find your place on the Dream Team—where your gifts come alive through serving the church.
STEP TWO
GROW
Growing Into Spiritual Maturity
Growth happens best in community. That’s why the heart of Gospel Light discipleship is House of Light.
HOUSE OF LIGHT – The River of Discipleship
Our home-based communities follow the model of Acts 2, where believers:
- Learn Scripture
- Pray together
- Share life
- Make disciples
House of Light is the main river of spiritual growth at Gospel Light.
MINISTRY STREAMS THAT SUPPORT GROWTH
These ministries flow into the river of discipleship and support every stage of spiritual development.
LEADING OTHERS
Mature disciples make disciples. We help others walk the same pathway:
Connect → Grow → Serve
STEP THREE
SERVE
Every Part Doing Its Work
Discipleship naturally moves outward—into ministry, mission, and leadership.
SERVING OUR COMMUNITY & BEYOND
Care Team Outreach
- Meeting needs and sharing Christ’s love in practical ways.
- Community Partnerships
- Serving alongside organizations in our city to bring hope.
- Schools & Government Engagement
- Bringing gospel influence to places where people live, learn, and lead.
- Global Missions
- Planting ministries, supporting missionaries, and taking the gospel around the world.
Final Challenge
“Let us press on to maturity… and God willing, we will do so.”
Hebrews 6:1-3
The Gospel Life is your invitation to grow deeper, live boldly, and follow Jesus fully.
